NPOP builds databases to manage the critical record keeping of raffles and donor contributions. Easy to use, they make the data that accumulates available for different purposes, such as sending out mailers. The databases are stored on secure Internet servers, so that staff can work from home or wherever they have computer and Internet access.

When tickets are purchases or their sales recorded, the database program requests that ticket purchases enter the names of friends or colleagues who may also want to donate and automatically sends them email noting the person who has given their name and the subject of the message.

For groups such as alumnae this makes it easy for a donor to give a personal message to friends that he or she may wish to send a brief hello.

It's also a way for major donors to send a request for a donation and, at the same time, an invitation to a select social event.
